@Analogish and The Jolly Upcycler Zine: Phytoplankton Blooms

A zine from former marine biologist The Jolly Upcycler and myself. It was so fun to collaborate with the amazing Elise and transforms her knowledge into a zine. Elise did the gorgeous embroidery and information, whilst I contributed the words and the backgrounds. 

This is a mixed media booklet zine printed on recycled paper made from algae. The backgrounds are made from gel plate prints using acrylic paint, overlayed with text and embroideries of real life phytoplankton Elise has worked with!

Phytoplankton Blooms is all about cherishing the symbiotic relationships in nature.
