This is an original lino print over watercolour and gold ink. It is inspired by fruticose lichens whose crips leaf-like structures stretch out over bark, particularly in the damper parts of the year.
The underlying watercolour is a complex mix of colours and inks making each one completely unique. This print comes in a darker lino ink and a lighter lino ink, as they were made in two separate batches. This lino print is handmade by myself in my Manchester studio space.
