Analogish "Threaded Blue" A4 Framed Lino Print with Embroidery

An A4 Original Lino Print with machine embroidery mimicking a lichen and moss covered tree found on a walk in Alderley Edge. This part of the world, the often damp and misty North West, is home to brimming and thriving lichens and mosses that make the grooves of stone and wood their home.

This print is named threaded blue because of the mossed and lichenated threads that delve deeply into bark and etch their symbiotic marks. In the last photo, you'll see the inspiration for this piece, some see greens but to colour match this to the best of my ability, I had to use blues- showing the often unexpected and beautiful colours of the woods.

This framed art work is a one of a kind piece, completely unique and stitched differently by the artist (me) every time.
