This original lino print was inspired by mycelial networks... the intricate, branching structures that spread unseen through the soil and connect the fungal world beneath our feet.
I love the way these networks resemble so many other things in nature: roots, veins, rivers, maps and tiny landscapes. What looks like an abstract pattern can actually represent an entire hidden world of connection.
I carved the design by hand and printed it onto beautiful handmade Khadi paper, using blue and grey tones to give it the feeling of a quiet forest floor or an underground map.
Each card is individually hand printed, so every one has its own small variations and character.
